All hail Prince Baxter!

Yes, it's finally come true, I've received the title that I so richly deserve.  I'm a Prince.  And I've got a certificate to prove it!  My school ran a contest last week in honor of National Dog Day.  The winner was going to be crowned King/Queen of the School.  Sadly, I didn't win King, but I was awarded the title of Prince instead.  (I think it's actually better 'cause I don't have to actually have the responsibility of ruling and can just enjoy my importance).  Here's the Royal Annoucement:  Prince Baxter

I've been working on getting people to bow to me, but so far it hasn't really been working.  And as much as I have been trying, Ferb does not respond with "Correct as usual, Prince Baxter" when I greet him in the hallway with "Ferb, I presume".  The best part, though, is that I won a free day at daycare.  Yippie!

In order to get this great honor, mommy and daddy wrote a song about it.  Here's the lyrics (sing along if you'd like, I'm sure you'll recognize the tune):

Just sit right back and you’ll hear a tail
The tail of a dog that's waggin'
The best dog that you’ll ever find
And no, I’m not just braggin'.

Our hero is a big-boned dog,
A puggle brave and sure
Two meals he's s'posed to have a day,
But he eats three or four, eats three or four.

Each week he plays with his doggie friends
Dogtopia is "da bomb"
Yet at baxterthepuggle.com,
Still he has the time to blog, the time to blog.

At school he sniffs and runs and plays
With Annabelle,
And Poncho too,
The Yorkie and the Pug,
The Bassett Hound,
The Terrier and Scoutie, too
At White Flint Dogtopia.

So this is the tale of our good dog,
Baxter's a loyal, loyal bud
He is the king of our condo,
And in town, quite the stud.

Baxter's hugs and kisses too
Will bring you to your knees
And he'll be your friend forever
If you feed him cheese.

No growling, no biting,
Not a single bad habit
Like Lassie or Rin Tin Tin,
He's the best dog on the planet.

So join Baxter here each week my friends,
(But watch out for the drool)
The King of Dog Day should he be,
Here at Baxter's school.
