School!

I'm at school again today. I was so excited to go to school this morning that I got up at 6 am and waited at the door. I had to wake daddy up because I was afraid he was going to oversleep and make me late.

Check me out in the Romper Room: http://www.dogdaycare.com/whiteflint/webcams.php.

My Rawhide

So I have a routine -- every night before bed I go outside to go potty, then I get a new rawhide, and then I go to bed in mommy and daddy's bed. Sometimes I'm really tired and I don't chew my rawhide for very long before I fall asleep, so daddy tries to save it and give it to me the next night. I won't accept that.

Sunday night daddy tried to give me a used rawhide before bed. As usual, I refused it and daddy had to give me a new one. Daddy took the used rawhide and put it on top of the low bookcase where mommy and daddy keep my treats. Last night, while I was watching TV with mommy and daddy, I decided I needed a little something to chew on. I remembered that daddy had put the used rawhide on top of the bookcase, so got off the couch, ran over and got it and brought it back to chew on while I watched TV. I like being able to get my own snacks!

Baxter vs. the Kleenex

Mommy's been sick the last couple of days, so she's been using a lot of Kleenex. And she's been leaving the box around the house. Last night she left the box on the coffee table and I decided to help myself. Kleenex are so much fun to play with!

Just call me O'Baxter...

Happy St. Patrick's Day everyone! I had a great day! I went to school today and got to see all my friends. I ran and played all day and so now I'm pretty tired and hoping to turn in early.
Mommy made corned beef and cabbage for dinner tonight and I got to try some of the corned beef. It was yummy -- so much better than my dog food. The cabbage smells kind of funny though. Mommy didn't let me wear my tie to school today (I guess she thought it would hinder my ability to play), but I did wear a green ribbon on my harness so that none of the other puppies would pinch me for not wearing green on St. Patrick's Day!

Par-Tay

Yesterday was a fun day! Mommy, daddy, and I went to a St. Patrick's Day party at my school. I dressed up for the party --
check out my cool tie. No one else was really in costume, though. There were so many other doggies at the party -- at first I was a little intimidated 'cause there were about 30 other puppies. And a fight broke out. That doesn't usually happen with my friends. (Sometimes it happens with the big dogs, though). I wasn't involved in the fight and I stayed out of the way until the mommies and daddies broke it up. After the fight, a bunch of people left and then it became more manageable. I got to run and play with tennis balls with a couple of other doggies. I'm learning to catch them in the air and bring them back to the person that threw them.

School!

I'm at school today playing with my friends. If you'd like to check me out on the webcam, here's the link: http://www.dogdaycare.com/whiteflint/webcams.php. Make sure and select "Romper Room" as the camera -- that's where me and my buddies play. The big kids play in "The Gym".

Naptime!

Daddy and I took a siesta today. Just like we do every afternoon. And boy, did I need it. As I mentioned, yesterday was a very busy day. Today has been pretty busy, too. Mommy spent a lot of the afternoon outside playing in the dirt. When I tried to play in the dirt with her, she got mad and made me come inside. Daddy and I had to cover up for our siesta 'cause mommy had the door open while she was outside.
Later this afternoon we went to the dog park and I got to play with my buddy Jet. Jet brought along with little sister -- she's only 14 weeks old. I got mad at mommy because she held Jet's little sister for a long time. On the car ride home, I wouldn't even look at her. The cheese she gave me from her pizza made me feel a little better, but I'm still not ready to completely forgive her. I'm holding out for some ice cream.

Ready for my Breakfast!

It was a very busy weekend for Baxter. Yesterday, mommy, daddy, and I went for two walks in two parks!

On one of the walks, mommy tried to walk across a stream on rocks and she stepped in the water. I laughed a little, but not out loud. Daddy laughed out loud.

Then in the afternoon, we went to the dog park. I got to play with a whole bunch of other doggies, including my best bud Jet. It was lots of fun and I was sad when we had to leave. Today looks like it's going to be a good day, too. I let you know later.
